BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches’ TOBY Choice Awards Shines Bright at the Kravis Center

The 2024 TOBY Choice Awards, hosted by BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches, was a resounding success, bringing together over 300 commercial real estate professionals at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. As the premier event recognizing excellence in building management and operations, the TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) competition serves as a benchmark of quality in the industry. This prestigious event not only celebrated outstanding buildings and individuals but also served as BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches’ signature fundraiser.

A Record-Breaking Night

Under the creative direction of Jackie Awve from Awve Marketing & Design, the event was nothing short of exquisite, setting a new standard for elegance and execution. Jackie Awve’s vision brought the event to life, ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees. Her expertise in event branding and experience design played a key role in making this year’s TOBY Choice Awards an extraordinary celebration.

Once again, sponsorship records were broken, with over 60 sponsors contributing to its success. GreenTeam Building Services took the lead as the Signature Sponsor, while Advanced Southern Paving and RedCoats joined as Headline Sponsors. Their generous support, along with that of many others, underscored the strong community backing for BOMA and its mission.

The TOBY Awards: A Prestigious Competition

The TOBY Awards program is recognized as the most prestigious and comprehensive competition in commercial real estate. It consists of three levels: local, regional, and international. The journey begins at the BOMA local association level, where winners advance to compete at the regional level. Regional champions then move forward to the BOMA International TOBY Awards, which represent the pinnacle of excellence in building management. The Southern Region TOBY winners will be announced at the BOMA Southern Region Conference, held April 11-14, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia.

This year, 12 outstanding entrants competed for the opportunity to advance to the regional level, each exemplifying superior building operations, community involvement, and environmental stewardship.
