Recognition for Excellence in Landscape Installation

We are proud to recognize Shinto Landscaping’s receipt of the 2023 CASF Craftsmanship Award, honoring Landscape Manager Derek Turnquest for his work at Icon Marina Village in West Palm Beach.

Shinto Landscaping was recognized by the Construction Association of South Florida (CASF) with a 2023 Craftsmanship Award in the Landscaping category.

The award was presented to Derek Turnquest, Landscape Manager for Shinto Landscaping, for his work on the landscape installation at Icon Marina Village, a waterfront residential development in West Palm Beach developed by Related Group and constructed by Balfour Beatty.

The CASF Craftsmanship Awards recognize individual tradespeople who demonstrate exceptional skill, experience, and dedication to their craft. The program has honored construction professionals throughout South Florida for more than six decades and remains one of the region’s most respected industry recognition programs.

The award-winning project included the installation of more than 8,200 landscape materials, including specialty palms and native plant species. The project also involved sensitive mangrove preservation efforts, requiring careful coordination and installation techniques within a challenging waterfront environment.

For Shinto Landscaping, the recognition reflects the expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to quality that define the company’s approach to landscape installation and maintenance throughout South Florida.
