Registration Open and Sponsorships Available for The 2015 Ron Macklin Memorial Open

B2015BOMADAYCUBEOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches’s BOMA Day committee is getting ready for another successful signature event. The Ron Macklin Memorial Open (also known as BOMA Day) is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation, Florida.

Every year, a committee of member-volunteers join together to plan an exceptional event where over 250 commercial real estate building owners, managers, and service providers enjoy networking in a relaxed country club setting. Immediately following golf, guests attend a cocktail hour, dinner reception and the raffle of all raffles with thousands of dollars worth of prizes.

The Ron Macklin Memorial Open has been co-chaired by Rob Farina of RJF Environmental and George Hendrix of Universal Protection Services for the last three years. “This event is an important part of BOMA’s annual fundraising efforts,” said Farina, also a BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches board member. Portions of the event proceeds are used to provide scholarships through the Ron Macklin Memorial Scholarship Fund.

“We are excited to announce that Empire Roofing has returned as our Headliner sponsor,” said Hendrix. “We are also happy to have two new signature sponsors this year: GreenSource Turf and Landscaping and Atlantic Southern Paving.”

The Ron Macklin Memorial Golf Tournament is open to members and non-members. Sponsorships range from $300-$6000. More information about registration and sponsorship can be found on BOMA Day webpage.
