JAM recently completed the 2023 SRC TOBY awards submission packages for two South Florida property management teams.
JAM recently worked with two BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches award-winning property managers to submit their Southern Region TOBY® awards package.
The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY®) Award is the commercial real estate industry’s highest recognition honoring excellence in commercial building management and operations in specific categories of building type or size. For an opportunity to win a BOMA International TOBY Award, a property must first win both local and regional competitions. It is an opportunity to showcase the real estate asset’s strengths and gain recognition for best-in-class operations and management with the most prestigious and comprehensive award of its kind in the commercial real estate industry.
A team of industry experts judge award packages based on a written narrative that includes a comprehensive description of management practices in the areas of:
- Building Operations and Management
- Life Safety Security Risk Management
- Training Education, Energy
- Environmental / Sustainability / Health & Wellness,
- Tenant / Occupant Relations / Community Involvement
Each building class has unique submission requirements.
Northbridge Centre is a 21-story, Class A iconic tower centrally located in Downtown West Palm Beach. The landmark property is easily recognized at a distance by the 21-story dark glass office tower connected by a sky bridge to the matching Pavilion building and parking garage to the south.
Northbridge Centre is managed by Julie Palmer-Nicholson, RPA of Vanderbilt Office Properties, LLC. The team is competing in the Renovated category.
Royal Palm Office Park consists of two Class-A office towers on 25.5 acres in the business district of Plantation, Florida. Royal Palm I is nine stories. Royal Palm II is eight stories. With 465,592 rentable square feet, Royal Palm Office Park has a top-notch roster of International, Fortune 500, governmental and medical tenants.
Royal Palm Office Park is managed by Alina Rizo, RPA of Lincoln Property Company. The team is competing in the Suburban Office Park category.
The Southern Region TOBY winners will be announced at the BOMA Southern Region Conference in Orlando, Florida on April 15th. Winners will automatically be entered to compete at the International level, which will be announced in June.
