Old Davie School Museum & Event Venue Launches New Website
Website Redesign for Historic Davie Landmark and Community Destination
We’re excited to share the launch of the new website for the Old Davie School Museum & Event Venue — one of Broward County’s most historic and recognizable landmarks.
Originally built in 1918 as the first permanent school in the Everglades, the property today serves as a museum, educational resource, event venue, and community gathering space in the heart of Davie, Florida.
This project involved far more than updating the look of a website. The challenge was helping better organize and communicate everything the organization actually offers — from local history and educational programming to private events, tours, exhibits, and community engagement.
Improving User Experience, Navigation, and Organizational Clarity
The new website was designed to create a cleaner, more intuitive experience for visitors while improving the overall structure and flow of information throughout the site.
The project included:
- Full website redesign and modernization
- Content restructuring and navigation improvements
- Mobile-responsive optimization
- Updated messaging and visual direction
- Event venue positioning and call-to-action strategy
- Improved organization of museum, tour, and event information
One of the most important parts of the process was modernizing the experience without making the organization feel over-produced or disconnected from its history and character.
Historic and community-based organizations often serve multiple audiences at once, and a major part of this project involved simplifying that complexity into a website experience that feels clear, approachable, and cohesive.
New Old Davie School Website Now Live
After a long and detailed process, we’re proud to see the new website live and helping support the continued visibility of an important piece of South Florida history.
