On November 7th, 2014, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Fort Lauderdale & Palm Beaches paid tribute to excellence in commercial real estate property and industry leaders at The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) awards.
We are proud to announce that our very own, Jackie Awve, was recognized as The Outstanding Member of the Year for her contributions to BOMA Fort Lauderdale & Palm Beaches. Jackie has dedicated many hours to the local association that meets the advocacy, education and networking needs of commercial real estate property owners, managers, and service provider professionals in the Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

Jackie Awve has been a member of BOMA Fort Lauderdale & Palm Beaches since 2006. She is the editor of the BOMA FTLPB newsletter and currently serves as a co-chair for the Marketing & Communication Committee and also volunteers on the Future Leadership and BOMA Day committees. She has also contributed to the Programming and Membership committees.
The TOBY Awards are considered to be the most prestigious awards for commercial real estate in the country and honors the finest in property management. This year, over 400 guests were in attendance at the spectacular TOBY Gala as the winners of 12 building categories were announced at the Harbor Marriot Beach Resort. Jackie Awve served as a TOBY Co-Chair in 2010 and 2011. She has also worked with a number of entrants to compete at regional levels.
